From Walking on Eggshells to Actually Talking Things Through

Relationship Therapy That Helps You Reconnect—Without Spending Years in Therapy

Serving Metro Detroit, MI

You still care about each other… but lately, it’s been hard to show it.

The arguments are more frequent—and more intense.

You find yourself either raising your voice… or saying nothing at all.
Sometimes it feels like you’re living in two separate worlds, stuck between frustration and silence.

You keep hoping things will turn around, but every conversation seems to end in blame, shutdown, or walking away.

It’s not that you’ve given up.
It’s that what you’ve tried isn’t working—and you’re tired.

Tired of feeling misunderstood.
Tired of repeating the same patterns.
Tired of wondering how much longer your relationship can survive this season.

You’re not looking for therapy just to talk.
You’re looking for a therapist who can help you actually do things differently.
Someone who can hold space for both of you—and also move the needle forward.

That’s where I come in.

Meet Roz – The Couples Therapist Who Gets It

You don’t need a therapist who just nods.
You need someone who can hold the tension, name the patterns, and guide you forward with clarity and care.

I became a therapist because I’ve lived through the real-life messiness of relationships—raising a family, navigating conflict, learning how to communicate through challenge instead of around it. I bring that lived experience into the room, along with the clinical training that helps me tailor a solution-focused plan for every couple I work with.

Clients often tell me they feel both stretched and supported in our sessions. I’m warm and collaborative, but I won’t shy away from asking the hard questions or pointing out the stuck points. I see the best in people—and I also see the patterns getting in the way of their connection.

I’m a certified Prepare & Enrich facilitator, trained in the Gottman Method, and grounded in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy—which means I’m always looking for what’s working, not just what’s broken. My goal isn’t to keep you in therapy forever. It’s to help you move from tension to teamwork with practical tools, real insight, and a renewed sense of what’s possible together.

If you’re looking for a therapist who’s both real and results-driven, I’d love to work with you.

Couples & Relationship Therapy FAQs

  • Not at all. Many couples come to therapy because they don’t want to get to that point. Whether you’re in constant conflict or just feeling emotionally distant, therapy can help you reconnect before things fall apart.

  • That’s incredibly common. I create a space where both of you can feel heard—without taking sides. Sometimes all it takes is one partner being open to trying. If you're willing to come in together, we can take it one step at a time.

  • I don’t believe in therapy that drags on or goes in circles. My approach is interactive and results-driven. We’ll identify what’s not working, build tools that do, and you’ll start seeing progress early on.

  • Yes! I offer secure online sessions for residents of Michigan, as well as in-person sessions in Farmington Hills, MI.

  • Every couple is different, but most begin seeing improvement within a few sessions. My goal isn’t to keep you in therapy forever—it’s to help you make real, lasting changes as efficiently as possible.

  • Couples sessions are $150. I also accept insurance and can provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement if needed. If you’re unsure about your benefits, I’ll guide you on what to ask your provider.

  • Yes, but only by referral. If you’re already in couples therapy (with me or another provider), and need individual support to deepen that work, I offer short-term, goal-focused sessions that align with your relationship goals.

  • There’s no such thing. Therapy is a space where you can’t mess up. I’ll guide the process and help both of you feel supported, even when things are messy or hard to say.

You don’t have to figure this out alone.

If you’re ready for therapy that gets to the point and helps you reconnect—without dragging on forever—I’d love to work with you.
